Mikalyn Rousculp

Mikalyn Rousculp is a Content Strategist and resident Photographer at Alopex. She works across campaign messaging, content strategy, and visual storytelling, bringing clarity, warmth, and a human point of view to the brands she supports.

With a bachelor’s degree in Communications from BYU-Idaho, an emphasis in Advertising, and minors in both Graphic Design and Photography, Mikalyn brings both strategy and creative instinct to her work. She’s especially interested in the places where strong messaging and thoughtful visuals come together to make a brand feel personal and authentic.

In addition to her work at Alopex, Mikalyn has owned and operated her own photography business for more than 10 years. Her photography work is rooted in honest, emotional storytelling, which also shapes the way she approaches brand messaging.

Born and raised in Alaska, Mikalyn is married to Joel, and together they are raising four children and two dogs. In typical eldest daughter fashion, she rarely sits still. Outside of work, she co-owns an interior design business, is building a home with her husband, and grows a large vegetable garden. You can often find her listening to early 2000s pop-punk music and true crime podcasts while fueling up with a Dr. Pepper.
